Coast Donates Surfboard for Charity Auction
Posted: 06/09/2010
The Papamoa Surf Life Saving Club held their annual charity auction recently, raising over $20,000 on the night.
One of the top bidding items was a custom 9' long board which Coast Papamoa Beach donated for the event.
Andrew Hitchfield (pictured above with his two young children and Coast director Steve Short) took out the top bid for the surfboard, much to the delight of his young family who he says spend most of their summers at the beach.
Steve Short says it was a great night and fantastic to see the amount of people and businesses supporting what is an important community organisation.
