Congratulations to Sam Durrant

"Hi to the Team at Coast Papamoa Beach,
I would just like to say a BIG thank you to you all for sponsoring my entry into the Tinman on Sunday. I really appreciated it and had a great day. I didn't quite get a Top 10 finish like I had hoped (12th in the end!) but I did manage to achieve a sports goal I had set at school at the beginning of the year of completing a Sprint Triathlon in under 1hr 10min by the end of the year. ( I did it in 1hr 9min 40sec!!). So, once again, thank you very much for your sponsorship and it was neat to meet you all on the day.

Coast Papamoa Beach also entered a team into the Tinman Triathlon for the first time. Our team put their fitness to the test with sales executive and ex-All Black Bull Allen on the bike, Tauranga Triathlon Club president Adam Hazlett doing the swim and veteran marathon runner Dennis Marshall (pictured below) completing the run. The team finished 12th in the corporate sprints competition. It was a great day for everyone involved.
